Eberechi Eze and Marc Guehi's heartwarming reunion while on Englandduty has been met with delight by fans.
The pair, who were team-mates at Crystal Palace until very recently, had a tumultuous summer, with Eze making the switch to Arsenalwhile Guehi's move to Liverpoolfell through at the last minute. Last year, under the guidance of manager Oliver Glasner, both club captain Guehi and electric attacker Eze played pivotal roles in Palace's FA Cup victory and subsequent Community Shield win.
Their standout performances didn't go unnoticed by other clubs. Despite initial links with Tottenham, Eze ended up opting for a £67.5million move to Arsenal in August, making his debut for the Gunners in their 1-0 loss to Liverpool. Guehi, whose contract expires next summer, had attracted interest from Newcastle United and Chelsea, but it seemed Anfield would be his next destination.

The centre-back even underwent a medical on deadline day. However, when Palace couldn't find a suitable replacement and with Glasner standing firm, the skipper remained at Selhurst Park. The English duo reunited at St George's Park on Tuesday following the collapse of Guehi's Liverpool transfer less than 24 hours earlier, and their embrace and clear bond warmed the hearts of fans.
In a video posted on England's official YouTube channel, Thomas Tuchel's squad can be seen arriving ahead of their matches against Andorra and Serbia. Among those being welcomed by staff are new faces Djed Spence from Tottenham and Nottingham Forest's Elliot Anderson.
Some recognisable figures were also welcomed back into the fold, including skipper Harry Kane and Ruben Loftus-Cheek, who worked under Tuchel during his Chelsea tenure but hasn't featured for the Three Lions in seven years.

Towards the end of the behind-the-scenes footage, new Arsenal acquisition Eze appeared, and upon entering the England headquarters, he noticed former team-mate Guehi chatting with staff members.
The 27-year-old offered Guehi an affectionate pat on the back before greeting those he was conversing with. Eze then embraced Guehi warmly, demonstrating the bond they forged during their time at Selhurst Park.
Supporters online were swift to voice their delight at witnessing the pair's reunion, with one writing: "That's the spirit of decent players." Meanwhile, another added: "Brothers back together."
"That hug said many words," remarked a third, whilst a fourth praised: "Eze giving Guehi a hug after the nonsense he's been through." A fifth penned: "Love you Guehi!"
A sixth fan adopted a more sombre perspective regarding the embrace following Guehi's failed transfer, posting: "Shame man, can see the sympathetic hug from Eze to Guehi about not getting his big move."

Transfer deadline day proved tumultuous for Guehi, who now appears destined to either secure a departure in January or depart as a free agent next summer. England manager Tuchel disclosed he granted his squad Monday off given it marked the final day of the transfer window.
"It (deadline day) is one reason why we called the players up on Tuesday, to not have all these mixed emotions," Tuchel explained. "They come on Tuesday, so they have one day off.
"We also didn't want to have that week too long. We wanted to streamline it towards the Saturday game and start on the Tuesday afternoon with training.
"But one part of the decision was also to give them the freedom to sort out maybe their transfer issues and the transfer subjects that come their way. So, yeah, of course we're interested. We need to know where we have to drive on the weekend."
