Former Chelsea chief Casper Stylsvig has landed one of sport's biggest jobs - just weeks after his Stamford bridge exit.
Chelsea announced his departure on September 23 amid changes at the top level at Stamford Bridge. Stylsvig, 52 had been at Chelsea for two years and oversaw a complete restructure at Stamford Bridge of the commercial operation, having worked previously at Fulham, Barcelona, Manchester United and AC Milan.
It was a mutual decision for one of football's most well known faces in business circles to leave the London club, as he had several top job offers on the table.
Now he has taken one of sport's most prestigious roles, after being named Executive Director Sports Business of Hong Kong Jockey Club. He also joins the Board of Management.

It is a huge new role for the Dane, who will start work on January 15 and report directly into HKJC’s Chief Executive Officer, Winfried Engelbrecht-Bresges.
He will now be responsible for overseeing HKJC’s sports business portfolio across horse racing, football, lottery, and emerging sporting opportunity, developing and executing growth strategy, strategic marketing efforts and overseeing all Race Course operations.
Stylsvig said: “It’s an incredible honour to join the Hong Kong Jockey Club at such an exciting time in its evolution. The Club stands among the world ’s most respected sports organisations, combining commercial excellence with a deep social purpose.
“This role represents a natural progressive next step in my career — bringing together best practices from global football to help shape the future of a truly unique, multi-sport business.
“I’m looking forward to working with Winfried and the team to drive innovation, expand our international footprint, and create world-class experiences for customers and fans in Hong Kong and beyond.”
