What is Ladki Behna Yojana
The Ladki Behna Yojana was started a few months before the Maharashtra Assembly elections in the year 2024. Under this scheme, women between the ages of 21 and 65 years are given Rs 1500 every month. This money is given to those women whose families' annual income is less than Rs 2.5 lakh. Now due to the men due to whom this scam has happened, the government treasury has suffered a loss of about Rs 21 crore.
