WhatsApp is once again bringing a new and very useful feature for its users. This time the company is testing an AI-powered feature 'Quick Recap', which will make your chat experience even better.
This new feature will prove to be especially helpful for those who are busy in the hustle and bustle of everyday life and cannot find time to scroll through long chats. With the help of Quick Recap feature, users will be able to get a brief summary of their unread messages in a few seconds. That is, if hundreds of messages have come in a chat, then now there will be no need to read each one - WhatsApp itself will tell you the main gist of that chat.
How will it work?
WhatsApp said that this feature is based on Meta Private Processing technology. This means that your chat will remain completely private and end-to-end encrypted. Meta or WhatsApp will not get your data in readable form. However, chats that are protected under 'Advanced Chat Privacy' will not be included in this feature.
When will it be launched?
The Quick Recap feature is currently in the development stage and has been seen in Android beta version 2.25.21.12. It will soon be rolled out for beta users. After this, all Android users will start getting this feature through stable updates. At present, no timeline has been revealed for iOS users.
