Every month, Masik Shivratri is observed on the 14th day of the Krishna Paksha (the waning phase of the moon). On this day, prayers are offered to Lord Shiva, the supreme god, and Goddess Parvati. Worshiping Lord Shiva on this day is believed to fulfill all desires.
For unmarried girls, observing the fast and performing the rituals of Masik Shivratri is said to grant them a desired life partner. Fasting and worshiping on Masik Shivratri brings happiness and prosperity. This month, the Chaturdashi Tithi (the 14th day) will begin on April 26 at 8:27 AM and end on April 27 at 4:49 AM. Thus, Masik Shivratri will be celebrated on April 26.
Until 8:27 AM, the Bhadravas Yoga will prevail, and performing Shiva worship during this time is believed to fulfill all wishes. The most auspicious time for worship, known as the Abhijit Muhurat, will be from 11:53 AM to 12:45 PM. Performing the worship during this time brings special blessings.
