Kangana Ranaut calls Jaya Bachchan 'spoilt' over viral selfie video: 'People put up with her nonsense just because she is Amitabh Bachchan ji's wife'

Recently, at Delhi’s Constitution Club on Tuesday, Samajwadi Party MP Jaya Bachchan grabbed the headlines for all the wrong reasons after she was spotted losing her cool. A man approached her for a selfie, and the veteran actress-turned-politician shoved him away, visibly annoyed. “Kya kar rahe hai aap? What is this?” she snapped. The video, now viral, has triggered a flood of reactions online — and even drawn sharp criticism from actress and BJP MP Kangana Ranaut.

The Queen actress, sharing the clip on her Instagram stories, didn’t hold back at all. “Most spoilt and privileged woman. People put up with her tantrums/nonsense just because she is Amitabh Bachchan ji's wife,” she wrote, taking a sharp and direct dig at the 76-year-old veteran parliamentarian.

How did the internet react to Jaya Bachchan's viral video?
Social media reactions were blunt and divided. Many criticised Jaya Bachchan’s attitude, questioning why a public figure — especially one holding a Rajya Sabha seat — would display such arrogance. Some accused her of relying on her identity as Amitabh Bachchan’s wife rather than earning political credibility on her own. A few even dubbed her the nation’s “Minister of Rudeness.”

Others pointed fingers at both parties. They argued that while the man should have sought permission before taking a selfie, her decision to push him came across as entitled and dismissive. Some also questioned the man’s reaction, wondering why he appeared unfazed and smiling despite being treated rudely. Several comments mocked the continued obsession with film stars.
