Friend clears the air on health rumours
Soon after her death, rumours began to circulate online that epilepsy might have been the cause. However, a close friend spoke out in a video to clear things up. The friend said, "She had no health issues. Just the day before, she had gone for a walk. She was absolutely fine. She never had a blockage. She passed away due to sudden cardiac arrest."
A career that started with a bang
Shefali entered the entertainment world at the young age of 20. Her performance in Kaanta Laga made her an overnight sensation. While she didn’t take on many Bollywood films, she remained active in music videos, regional cinema, and television. She also appeared in films like Mujhse Shaadi Karogi and Hudugaru, and took part in reality TV shows that brought her closer to fans across the country.
Her personal life
Shefali was first married to Harmeet Singh from the music duo Meet Brothers in 2004, but they parted ways in 2009. In 2015, she married actor Parag Tyagi, and the couple often shared glimpses of their life together on social media.
