Sawan me Ghar mein Kya Cheezein na Rakhein: The month of Sawan is considered very sacred and full of energy in Hinduism. This is the time when fasts, fasting, and worship are done to get the special blessings of Lord Shiva. But is just worship enough? No. According to astrologer and Vastu expert Ravi Parashar, cleaning the house and removing wrong or useless things before the arrival of Sawan is equally important. According to him, there are some things which if not removed in time, not only invite misfortune but can also have a bad effect on the health and financial condition of the family. They also affect worship. Therefore, it is very important to fill the house with freshness and positive energy before Sawan.

1. Broken or torn pictures and idols
If any broken idol or picture of God is kept in the house, then it should be removed immediately. Especially before Sawan, their presence hinders the good fortune of the house. Such pictures attract negative energy and also reduce the effect of worship.
2. Stopped clock or stopped calendar
If there is a stopped clock in your house or an old calendar hanging on the wall, then it increases obstacles and laziness in life. It is important to change these things before the beginning of Sawan because this time symbolizes new beginnings and energy.
3. Withered plants and dry basil
The basil plant is considered sacred but if it has dried up or any other plant in the house is lying withered, then it invites misfortune. It is especially important to keep greenery and elements related to nature alive and green during Sawan.
4. Broken utensils and cracked mirrors
Keeping broken utensils or cracked mirrors in the house can cause financial loss and family tension. Keeping such items in the house is considered faulty in Vastu Shastra. It is auspicious to get rid of these things before Sawan.
5. Old and dirty broom
The broom is considered a symbol of Goddess Lakshmi. If there is a torn, broken, or dirty broom lying in the house, then it increases poverty and negativity. Bringing a new broom before Sawan and destroying the old one in the right way gives auspicious results.
6. Unused electronic items
Many times, things like broken mixers, presses, TVs or mobile keep occupying space in the house. These create negative energy and also increase mental stress. Start Sawan with a clean and organized house.
7. Closed cupboard and unused items
If any cupboard in the house has been closed for years or any room has not been opened for a long time, then clean it before Sawan. Unused items and dust bring stagnation and lethargy in the house which hinders development.
8. Burnt or half-finished incense sticks and diyas
Leaving the burnt lamps or incense sticks left after worship at the place of worship shows impurity. This habit in Sawan can reduce the blessings of God. Cleaning is necessary after worship every day.

Caution and alertness are the biggest solutions.
Sawan is not only the month of worship but it is also an opportunity to purify and energize yourself and your home. When we remove negative things from the house, happiness, peace, and prosperity automatically start coming into it. Taking care of these small things not only keeps the blessings of Lord Shiva but also strengthens the health and luck of the entire family.
Before the beginning of Sawan, identify those things in your house that are considered inauspicious and remove them immediately. These not only harm luck and health, but can also bring stress and financial obstacles.
