Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): AIIMS, Bhopal performed Aortic Aneurysm Repair and saved life. This surgery had been performed on a 60-year-old farmer from Sagar district, who was suffering from abdominal pain since last one year.
Aortic aneurysm detected
He had consulted several hospitals where, after examination, a 10-centimeter abdominal aortic aneurysm was detected in his abdominal aorta, which was gradually increasing in size and posed a risk of rupture at any time.
Aneurysm was successfully removed
During this surgery, the aneurysm was successfully removed and repaired using a graft (artificial vessel). After the surgery, the patient was transferred to the ICU where his health is continuously improving.
