Emraan Hashmi starrer Ground Zero released on Friday (April 25, 2025), and it has received mixed to positive reviews from the critics. However, the film has been getting thumbs up from the netizens. The movie is set against the backdrop of Kashmir, army, and terrorism, and it is a concept that will surely connect with the audience because of the ongoing scenario in the country. While netizens are liking it, the movie on its day one is expected to take a slow start.
On day 1, Ground Zero is expected to collect around Rs. 1-1.20 crore at the box office. This is surely not a great number, but looking at the minimal pre-release buzz, the day one collection can be called average. However, the film surely needs to show a jump on Saturday and Sunday to collect a decent amount at the box office during its first weekend.
Ground Zero Review
Ground Zero has received mixed reviews, but most of them are positive. The Free Press Journal reviewer gave the film three stars and wrote, "Ground Zero turns out to be a decent film which is good in bits and parts, but if you are an Emraan Hashmi fan, it is a must-watch for you! Also, with the ongoing situation in Kashmir, this movie will connect well with the audience."
Emraan Hashmi Movies Box Office Collection
Emraan Hashmi is undoubtedly one of the best actors we have in the industry. But, from the past many years, he has not given a hit. His last hit film was Raaz 3 which was released in 2012. Later, he did star in some average grossers, but most of his movies have been flop at the box office.
Even in Ground Zero, Emraan has given a fantastic performance. But, will the movie become a hit at the box office? Let's wait and watch!
