Indore (Madhya Pradesh): In a shocking incident, two people allegedly held a tribal youth captive in their house for 14 years. They made him do all the work and chained him at night. The workers of two Hindu organisations rescued the youth and lodged a complaint at AJK police station.
Mahendra Yadav, national president of Bajrang Sena, informed the media persons that the father of the 24-year-old victim had informed him that his son was a hostage in the house of Rahim and Ibrahim in Hansalpur village for 14 years. After that Yadav and the activists of Keshariya Hindu Vahini rescued him from there.
He was later taken to the police station and a complaint was lodged. Yadav alleged that the two people made the youth clean their washroom also. They did not give him money and proper food.
He was not allowed to meet his parents and was thrashed over petty issues. He alleged that the accused chained the youth at night and demanded strict action against the duo.
ACP (AJK) Sonu Dawar informed the Free Press that the youth was rescued and his family lodged a complaint with the police. Investigations were underway to know why the accused kept him hostage for a long time and why the family members did not object earlier.
