In a tragic news, television actor Vibhu Raghave, whose real name was Vaibhav Kumar Singh Raghave, passed away on June 2 in Mumbai after battling colon cancer for three years. He succumbed at Nanavati Hospital, and his death was confirmed by his friends, Simple Kaul and Addite Malik.
"The purest soul, a beacon of strength & positivity. His smile could light up any room & his presence alone made everything feel better. He faced life with unmatched grace & left behind a love that will never fade. He will be deeply missed. Always (sic)," his family said in a statement.

It was in 2022 when Vibhu had shocked his fans by sharing that he had been diagnosed with Stage 4 neuroendocrine colon cancer. Since then, he had been sharing motivational photos and videos on his social media handles, promising his fans that he would not give up.
Who was Vibhu Raghave?
Vibhu was a well-known face on television and also a software engineer. After completing his course in the New York Film Academy, Vibhu returned to India and pursued acting in the small screen industry.
He was seen in brief roles in Savdhaan India, Suvreen Chawla, Rhythm, and other shows. He got his big break with the show, Nisha Aue Uske Cousins, which featured Aneri Vajani in the titular role. The show made Vibhu a household name, and it also helped him bag several advertisements and brand endorsements.
Vibhu is survived by his mother Anupama Raghav, brother Aishwarya Raghave and sister Garima Singh Tyagi.
Vibhu Raghave's friends mourn his demise
In April, actors Simple Kaul, Karan Veer Mehra, Addite Malik and others had put up a post on social media, requesting people to contribute financially to support Vibhu's chemotheraphy in Mumbai.
"It’s been an overwhelming journey for all of us to see him go through this. He’s fighting it bravely. We have exhausted our funds and We need immediate funds to save him. Pls pray for his recovery & do contribute whatever you can for his hospital treatment (sic)," the note read, and a large number of people positively responded to it.
Simple and Addite were the first ones to react to the news of Vibhu's demise. "He walks now in a world beyond ours, free from pain, embraced by light. He was an inspiration for all of us.. His journey continues.. from this world to another..(sic)," Addite wrote.
Simple wrote, "With a heavy heart we would like to inform our near and dear ones that our beloved friend Vibhu @vibhuzinsta left us today pls pray for his journey ahead. Love & Light! Om Namah Shivaya (sic)."
Sharing an old photo of Vibhu, Karan Veer Mehra wrote, "Too soon... Rest in peace brother (sic)."
Aneri Vajani, Mohitt Maalik, and many other celebs also mourned his death.
