Let us tell you that stories of love across the border are often in the news. Sometimes Pakistani women fall in love with Indian men, and sometimes Pakistani men try to trap Indian women in their love trap.
Sunita Jamgade, a 43-year-old woman from Nagpur, Maharashtra, madly fell in love with a Pakistani pastor online and fell in love with him. She reached Leh-Ladakh on the pretext of travelling with her 12-year-old son. She wanted to meet the Pakistani pastor.
On May 14, leaving her son in the hotel room, Sunita crossed the border to Pakistan from Hunderman, a border village in Kargil. There, Pakistani Rangers arrested her and after interrogation, when Sunita explained her intention, perhaps for the first time, Pakistani Rangers handed her over to the Border Security Force at Attari border. When the Border Security Force interrogated Sunita, she told that she loved a pastor living in Pakistan and had crossed the border to meet him.
When the Border Security Force interrogated her further, it was revealed that Sunita had earlier tried to go to Pakistan via the Attari-Wagah border in March this year, but at that time the BSF did not let her go. After this, she planned to cross the border via Ladakh but she could not succeed in this as well. In fact, she suddenly disappeared after leaving her son in the hotel.
When the Kargil police received the news of Sunita's disappearance, they began searching for her. Investigation revealed that Sunita had left her home to meet a pastor living in Pakistan and left her son in a hotel and left for Pakistan illegally.
Pakistan Rangers handed over Sunita to the Border Security Force at the Attari border. After this, the Border Security Force handed her over to the Gharinda Police Station. After this, Sunita's relatives were informed about this. Sunita's brother Sunil Jangde said that his sister is mentally ill.
