Amanda Owen is a firm favourite on the TV - but it’s fair to say she’s had a rollercoaster love life.
The Yorkshire Shepherdess shot to fame with her family, including ex-husband Clive - who she split from in 2022 - and son Rueben, on the Channel 5 show Our Yorkshire Farm in 2018.
The series introduced viewers to the Owen clan, and followed the family on their sprawling 2000-acre farm, Ravenseat Farm. Recently, mum-of-nine Amanda has returned to screens for the Channel 4 series, Our Farm Next Door.

But away from the TV shows and farm, Amanda’s love life has often made plenty of headlines over the years.
Amanda Owen and husband Clive’s splitAmanda and ex husband Clive tied the knot back in 2000 and went on to welcome nine children together. However, the couple shocked fans in 2022 when they announced their split.
Amanda and Clive said in a joint statement: “Although we are no longer a couple, we continue to work on the farm and co-parent together, with our number one priority the happiness and wellbeing of our children.”
Addressing their split later, Amanda told the RadioTimes: “Look, there are two simple facts: if he thought I was brilliant, and I thought he was brilliant, then we wouldn’t have separated.
“It’s a fact, isn’t it? But, you know what, that’s not unique, it’s just how things are, pressures, all the rest of it.”
Clive Owen on real reason for splitWhen Amanda and Clive’s separation was announced, rumours that infidelity had played a part started circulating. But in 2024, Clive shed light on the real reasons behind their breakup.
He told The Sun he found himself resenting Amanda’s success, as her public profile continued to grow. Clive shared: “I’d like people to know that what caused the split between us wasn’t anyone else – it was the constant fighting. My anger drove Amanda away."
He added: “Looking back on it, I can see now that Amanda needed someone to talk to, someone she could trust, and at that stage, I wasn’t that person."
Admitting to drinking a "lot of whisky", Clive also claimed that he knew Amanda “dreaded coming home” because she was aware what was to come and that Clive “would start a fight”.
He added: “I can see now that I was being hypocritical by thinking Amanda had left me behind with the success she had outside of the farm, because in some respects, I had always put the farm before her, so she was coming second to that."
Amanda’s relationship with RobFollowing their split, Amanda struck up a romance with web designer, Robert Davies, who is 22-years her senior. He was a friend of Clive's, who previously confirmed that they started dating after they had separated.
“I never set out looking for another relationship. Rob [Davies] was a friend that Clive and I had both known for a long time,” Amanda told MailOnline in 2024. She then shared that he put together the farm’s website and helped with “the digital aspect of the business”.
Amanda said: “What he offered was conversation rather than confrontation, and Clive knew about it from the very beginning – he actually suggested Rob and I would be a good match.
"At that point, a few years ago now, Clive was also seeing someone else and was openly dating. It wasn’t a secret, everyone roundabout knew, even the children.”
However, Amanda’s romance with Rob didn’t last, as she confirmed they had split up.
She added to the publication: “Rob and I were both shattered by the way the media pursued us and reported it, and as a result Rob and I are no longer together or in touch."
