A British boy seriously injured in a third-floor hotel plunge lost his balance as he went to fetch a towel hanging over his balcony, it emerged today.
The eight-year-old, who suffered a traumatic brain injury as well as a skull fracture and broken jaw following Tuesday night’s horror fall from the third floor of a hotel in San Antonio, , was with his grandmother at the time, according to local news outlets. investigators confirmed overnight the incident was being treated as an accident, and hospital chiefs are expected to update the injured youngster’s condition later today.
