Crystal Palace do not appear to concerned over an imminent departure for Marc Guehi after including the defender in the launch of their new kit. The Eagles released their new home shirt and the England international was front and centre of the club's promotional material.
Guehi has seen his future speculated upon after entering the final year of his contract at Selhurst Park with Liverpool among the clubs linked with his signature. Newcastle United saw a transfer saga unfold over the Chelsea academy product last summer as they endured tense negotiations but were ultimately unwilling to meet Palace's asking price of £70million
And the south London side appear to be in a stingy mood again this summer. Despite it possibly being Palace's final opportunity to cash in, their demand of £40m appears to have been offputting.
But there is little indication that Guehi is set to sign a new contract, and instead reports suggest that he is willing to wait out his contract. That is a move that could prove benficial for the Reds who could yet land the star for free.
Currently there appears to be little risk of another team swooping in to force Liverpool into an earlier move. And Palace's decision to include Guehi in their kit launch would suggest they are anticipating the defender starting the season at Selhurst Park.

Guehi could be seen alongside Eagles stars Jean-Philippe Mateta, Adam Wharton, Maxence Lacroix and Justin Devenny on Saturday. Eberechi Eze, who has been linked to Arsenal and Tottenham this summer, was not amongst the material.
Eze was also absent from Palace's opening friendly of the summer. Oliver Glasner's team faced off against local rivals Millwall and came away 1-0 victors thanks to Jesurun Rak-Sakyi's goal.
The likes of Mateta, Wharton, new signing Borna Sosa and Matheus Franca all featured in the first half of the clash but Eze was missing. There was nothing nefarious in the decision however, as they have not integrated into pre-season training yet.
In a bid to alleviate any fears, Palace said: "Players involved on international duty at the end of the 24/25 season are yet to return to training."
Eze, 27, is said to have a £68m release clause with the FA Cup winners.
