Donald Trump has lashed out to predecessor amid his cancer ordeal, accusing his close allies of “treason”. Taking to his Truth Social media platform,Biden for what he called an “open borders” approach taken by those close to him politically, suggesting Biden was taken advantage of due to cognitive decline.
less than two days after the Bidens announced the former president has an aggressive form of prostate cancer. “It wasn’t his idea to Open the Border, and almost destroy our Country, and cost us Hundreds of Billions of Dollars to get criminals out of our Country, and go through the process we are going through now. It was the people that knew he was cognitively impaired, and that took over the Autopen,” wrote in his latest online tirade.
“They stole the Presidency of the United States, and put us in Great Danger. This is TREASON at the Highest Level!” He also said that the “ everybody knew would never allow drug dealers, gang members, and the mentally insane to come into our Country totally unchecked and unvetted.”

The White House incumbent went on to say "something very severe should happen” to these "treasonous thugs”. He had previously said after the diagnosis that he was "surpirsed" the public was not informed a "long time ago". He also suggested one of the doctors who treated Biden claimed he was "cognitively fine" when he was "not so".
"I'm surprised the public wasn't notified a long time ago because to get to stage nine, that's a long time," Trump claimed. Prostate cancer is assigned a Gleason score, which ranges from two to 10 and indicates how abnormal the cancer cells are when compared to healthy tissue under a microscope. Biden’s office reported his score was nine, suggesting a highly aggressive form of the disease.
Trump then went on to mention his own cognitive testing and was "proud to announce I aced it". "I think that, if you take a look it's the same doctor that said that Joe was cognitively fine... there was nothing wrong with him," Trump said. "If it's the same said there was nothing wrong there... that's been proven to be a sad situation."
He added a claim that there are "things going on that the public wasn't informed of". Whether Trump was talking about the length of time it took Biden to receive a diagnosis or the time taken for the public to be informed is unclear. Donlad Trump Jr also took a swipe at the president's wife Dr Jill Biden.
“What I want to know is how did Dr. miss stage five metastatic cancer or is this yet another coverup???” he said. There is no such thing as stage five cancer. Jill Biden is an educational doctor.
The post appeared to be a sarcastic jab at the former first lady. Hours before, Trump Jr said agreed "100 percent" with calls for respect for the Biden family after the diagnosis.
Trump, who faced off against Biden during the 2020 and early parts of the 2024 election cycle, previously said he was “saddened” to hear the news. “We extend our warmest and best wishes to Jill and the family, and we wish Joe a fast and successful recovery,” he posted on Truth Social.
Biden, 82, announced he had been diagnosed with an “aggressive” form of prostate cancer. His office said he was seen by doctors last week after experiencing urinary symptoms. Tests revealed the cancer had spread to his bones, and he was formally diagnosed on Friday.
“While this represents a more aggressive form of the disease, the cancer appears to be hormone-sensitive, which allows for effective management,” a statement from his office read. “The President and his family are reviewing treatment options with his physicians.”
He has previously dealt with other health concerns, including a skin lesion removed from his chest, later revealed to be a common form of skin cancer, in early 2023. In November 2021, the former president had a benign but potentially pre-cancerous polyp removed from his bowel.
