Hollyoaks hunk confirms new romance with huge Game Of Thrones star

Former Hollyoaks actor Nico Mirallegro appears to have officially unveiled his new relationship with Game of Thrones star Nell Tiger Free.

Nico is fondly remembered by soap enthusiasts as the troubled gothic teenager Barry 'Newt' Newton, who was at the centre of a highly praised schizophrenia storyline.

Globally, Nell is recognised for her role as the ill-fated Myrcella Baratheon in the HBO fantasy series, the daughter of arch-villain Cersei Lannister, who tragically succumbed to a revenge attack against her mother during the battle for the iron throne. It comes after Taylor Swift sparks engagement rumours as fans spot Travis Kelce's lock screen.

Now aspiring to establish herself as a musician, Nell seemingly spilled the beans first, sharing several charming clips on her TikTok page.

One video features her teasing her new beau about Mancunian slang, while another portrays him as the romantic lead in a mini-music video set to one of her original songs.

The duo were initially seen together when Nico supported Nell at the premiere of her play 'Thanks For Having Me' earlier this year.

Since then, they appear to have grown increasingly close, frequently featuring each other on their Instagram stories in recent weeks.

In addition to her blossoming romance, Nell has been occupied with her role in the Apple+ series, Servant.

Nico's portrayal of Newt and his struggle with schizophrenia garnered much acclaim between 2007 and 2010, and his career has continued to flourish since.

He played a main character in the dramedy 'My Mad Fat Diary' and last year, he featured in the Paramount Plus series, 'Stags'.

Nico has had quite the glow up from his days as Chester village's resident troubled teen. Leaving his awkward teenage years firmly behind, Nico can now be classed as a bona fide hunk. After ditching the bad dye job, heavy eye liner and lip piercing, Nico has gained legions of admirers thanks to his brooding roles in grown-up dramas.

The star has stayed busy since the show, and gone on to become a BAFTA-nominated actor, after receiving recognition for his role as Joe Middleton in BBC's The Village.

He also starred as Finn Nelson in My Mad Fat Diary, before appearing as as Timothy Evans in BBC series Rillington Place.

The three part drama based on the true story of serial killer John Cristie and the wrongful murder of Nico's character Evans.

The Manchester born star was later cast in the BBC film Murdered For Being Different in 2017 which told the true story of Rob Maltby.

But viewers will best know Nico for his role as the foster child of Frankie and Jack Osborne - who made an impression with his battle with schizophrenia and goth-inspired image.

After bagging his first TV role in 2007 Nico spent three years at the Channel 4 soap.

Despite quitting when he was just 18, Nico speaks fondly of his time in the long-running soap. "Hollyoaks is where I learnt a lot of the craft, being in front of a camera six days a week. . . . That's certainly an experience you don’t get in drama school."
