Midge Ure admitted "it's different" as he detailed why Live Aid couldn't happen today.
The concert's co-organiser appeared on Good Morning Britain on Monday (July 14) to mark its 40th anniversary.
While speaking to hosts Richard Madeley and Charlotte Hawkins, Midge opened up on the event's unique nature that he felt would be hard to replicate today.

"There's enough trouble in the world to pull people together to try and sort. I think it's different, I think mobile phones have changed everything" he shared.
"I think people live a more splintered life, very difficult now to try and coerce people into looking at one particular problem because we're all living in our own little worlds."
