The late Ozzy Osbourne made his funeral wishes very clear years before he died - warning his loved ones he "definitely don't want a f**king happy song" played during any celebration of his life.
TheBlack Sabbathfrontman's death at the age of 76was announced on Monday night - just weeks on from the Brummie reuniting with his former bandmates for a farewell gig in their hometown.
Ozzy's funeral plans haven't yet been shared but the War Pigs hitmaker spoke several times over the year about how he wants his send-off to go. The dad-of-six stressed in 2011 that he wanted a service to be a celebration of his life rather than a sombre affair.

"There'll be no harping on the bad times," Ozzy told The Times. "It's worth remembering that a lot of people see nothing but misery their whole lives, so by any measure, most of us in this country - especially rock stars like me — are very lucky. That's why I don't want my funeral to be sad, I want it to be a time to say ''thanks'."
The singer, known for his humour, also stated he didn't want his funeral to be a "mope-fest" and admitted he wasn't fussed about what music played during his final goodbye. "I honestly don't care what they play at my funeral; they can put on a medley of Justin Bieber, Susan Boyle and We Are the Diddymen if it makes 'em happy," Ozzy joked.
In another interview in 2016, Ozzy revealed he did actually have some requested - with The Beatles fan admitting he would like A Day In The Life by the Fab Four playing at his funeral.
"I really need a few more years to think this over, but probably something from 'Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band or Revolver," Ozzy told NME. "I definitely don't want my f**king greatest hits album - I never ever play that thing, I'm f**king embarrassed about it. And I definitely don't want a f**king happy song - I'm dead."
Ozzy's death was announced by his loved ones, with a family statement telling fans: "It is with more sadness than mere words can convey that we have to report that our beloved Ozzy Osbourne has passed away this morning. He was with his family and surrounded by love. We ask everyone to respect our family privacy at this time"
Earlier this month, Ozzy bid a farewell to fans with a Black Sabbath reunion, telling thousands of heavy metal enthusiasts at Villa Park, Birmingham – a stone’s throw from where Black Sabbath was formed in 1968 – that it was "so good to be on this stage" as he performed his last set from a large black throne.
Ozzy and his fellow original Black Sabbath members – Tony Iommi, Terence 'Geezer' Butler and Bill Ward – were the last to appear on stage as part of the star-studded line-up for the Back to the Beginning concert.
The dad-of-six's death has sparked a wave of tributes from across the world. Sir Elton John has said Ozzy Osbourne was a "huge trailblazer" who "secured his place in the pantheon of rock gods".
He joined Rolling Stones guitarist Ronnie Wood and other famous faces in paying tribute to the Black Sabbath singer after his death on Tuesday. Sir Elton posted on Instagram: "So sad to hear the news of Ozzy Osbourne passing away.
"He was a dear friend and a huge trailblazer who secured his place in the pantheon of rock gods – a true legend. He was also one of the funniest people I’ve ever met. I will miss him dearly. To Sharon and the family, I send my condolences and love. Elton xx."
Singer Yungblud, who sang Black Sabbath’s Changes at the Back To The Beginning farewell concert, said he was "heartbroken" by the news and called Ozzy "the greatest of all time".
"I didn’t think you would leave so soon the last time we met you were so full of life and your laugh filled up the room," he wrote in a social media post.
