Perfume fans can get their hands on a new perfume that has shoppers 'obsessed'. Crème De Clementine is a new scent from NEST NY that has been described as 'elegant, dreamy, and edible'.
The scent (from £28, Cult Beauty) is quite simple, opening up with a zesty clementine zest and citron accord before deepening to a heart of vanilla crème. It's balanced out with a base of blonde wood to add depth to the scent while still remaining sweet.
Clementine does seem to be a note on the rise with The 7 Virtue's Clementine Dream(£85 for 50ml bottle) and Le Monde Gourmand's Clementine Bisous (£24 for 30ml) heavily featuring the note. Clementine is slightly sweeter than other citrus notes on the market.

While thefull sized 50ml bottlehasn't brought in any reviews on Cult Beauty yet, the 8ml travel size of Crème De Clementinehas an impressive 4.9 out of five average rating from almost 100 reviews. One shopper said: "I’m genuinely obsessed. The scent is unlike anything I’ve worn before. It smells exactly like cream soda in the best possible way — sweet, citrusy, creamy, and just a little fizzy.
"It’s playful yet soft, and every time I wear it, someone tells me I smell edible (in a good way!). What I love most is how long it lasts for a travel spray — it lingers on my skin for hours without fading into something generic. It’s the perfect size for my bag, so I’m never without it. If you love gourmand scents or want something that feels cosy, nostalgic, and fun all at once, this one’s a must-try."
Another wrote: "I’m absolutely obsessed with this scent. I’ve always loved sweet-and-tangy combinations, and Crème de Clementine just outshines everything I’ve ever had before. It opens with a delicious burst of juicy citrus, like the sweetest, sun-ripened clementine, and then melts into a soft, spicy vanilla that stays on the skin like a whisper. It’s never overpowering, just elegant, dreamy, and edible in the best way.
"Think: crème brûlée ice cream melting in an orange grove at golden hour. Irresistibly sweet, yet so refined. Feels like sunshine and comfort. A scent that draws you in, not chokes the room I can’t stop reaching for it: it’s a little love affair in my bag, and I don’t see that changing any time soon. This is forever."
One shopper did complain that the scent didn't have enough of a citrus hit for them, writing: "Not Clementine-y enough. Not for me because the vanilla note is too overpowering." It is worth remembering that the clementine is in the top note which is the first to fade.
Our team's dedicated perfume expert Jada Jones got her hands on the product and said: "Anyone who knows me knows how much I love clementine, I will always opt for clementine over orange juice and I generally prefer the flavour of the fruits. I've tried hundreds of perfumes and it's rare that one becomes an instant favourite but I love this. It's a little bit sweet but more warm, I've got perfumes that dance into the realm of too sweet (Love, Don't Be Shy by Kilian jumps to mind) but this is one I'd happily wear in every setting. I have a feeling I'm going to need a new bottle of this by Christmas time as it's so wearable."
Crème De Clementineis available in 8ml(£28) and 50ml (£82) at Cult Beauty now.
