Hardoi Accident News: A car full of baraatis overturned in a ditch on the side of the road on Anjhi-Alamnagar road. Six people, including two brothers and their brother-in-law, died when the uncontrolled car overturned at Bhupa Purva turn in Majhila police station area. Six baraatis travelling in the car were also injured. All of them have been referred from the Medical College to Lucknow Trauma Center.
Tragic Accident In Hardoi: Once again an overloaded vehicle became a victim of a road accident in Hardoi district. Of course this time there is no auto or e-rickshaw, but a private car was hired for the wedding procession. There were 12 people in a car with a seating capacity of seven passengers. A video of the wedding procession has also surfaced. In this, two youths are seen sitting on the seat next to the car driver.
Ramu, a resident of Mohalla Bhagwantpur in Pali, was the car driver. He used to drive the private car of Shajeeb of Pali on rent. According to Neeraj's family, he had booked the car to take him to the wedding. All the baraatis had left at around 7:30 pm, but Neeraj's cousin, friend and cousin brother-in-law left for the wedding procession at around 8:30 pm.
Some more people had boarded the car at night.
These people had boarded Ramu's car. There were only eight people in the car while leaving. Among them Udayveer and Akash were sitting in the front seat next to the driver. Reliable sources tell that some more people boarded the car at night with the desire to return to Pali. After this, this car met with an accident.
The car was locked, the injured were taken out by breaking the glass.
The Ertiga car got automatically locked after falling into the ditch. The people trapped in it were struggling to get out but the doors and glass were not opening. Meanwhile Ramji and his father Dharmendra, who were part of the wedding procession, reached from behind in another car. These people also tried to take out the people trapped in the car but even then the window did not open. The windscreen was broken and the injured were taken out through it. During the incident, glass entered the neck of the driver Ramu while Udaiveer's left hand got separated from the body.
Brother in law, you go by car.
While returning from the wedding procession, the number of passengers in the car increased. Jitendra's brother in law Johri and Jitendra's son Siddharth boarded the bus. When Jitendra came to know about this, he said to Johri that brother in law, you should go by car and not by bus. On this Johri took Siddharth off and made him sit in the car. Later this car met with an accident.
Udayveer did not want to come to the baraat, the groom's cousin brother-in-law came on Neeraj's insistence.
Johri did not want to come to the wedding at first. Actually, a ceremony was held at Johri's place a few days ago. No one from Neeraj's family attended it. Johri was upset about this. When Neeraj invited him to the baraat, he refused to come. After this, on Neeraj and Jitendra's insistence, he went to the baraat, but did not return.
This is how the accident happened, six people died.

The wedding procession of Neeraj, a resident of Mohalla Patiyanivan in Pali town, went to Kusma village in Majhila police station area on Friday night. In the wedding procession were Neeraj's cousins Jitendra (35) and Akash (22), Jitendra's son Siddharth (6), Jitendra's brother-in-law Jauhari (40) from Kilkili, Narendra (18), Udaiveer (18), Ranjeet (18), Parvind (28), Neeraj (17) from Pali and the groom's maternal uncle's son Anil (24) from Sakrauli.
The car suddenly went out of control and overturned.
All the people had left in the car to go back to Pali at around two o'clock in the night after the Dwarchar and Jaimal rituals. The car was being driven by Ramu (25), a resident of Bhagwantpur in Pali police station area. According to eyewitnesses, the speeding car suddenly went out of control near Bhupapurwa turn and after turning over several times, it stopped in a ditch. The wedding guests coming from behind in another car started trying to take out the people trapped in the car and also informed the police.
The injured were taken out of the car and sent to CHC by ambulance.
CO Shahabad Anuj Mishra and Kotwal Brajesh Rai were in the area on receiving information about the incident. Both the officers immediately reached the spot with their team. All the injured were taken out of the car and sent to Community Health Center by ambulance. Here the doctor declared Jitendra, Akash, Siddharth, Jauhari and Ramu dead. Rest seven injured were referred to Medical College Hardoi after first aid. From here also all were sent to Trauma Center Lucknow. Udaiveer was also declared dead in Trauma Center.
Four major causes of the incident
- The speed of the car was very high. According to eyewitnesses, the car was running at a speed of 120 kilometers per hour.
- The incident happened at 2:20 in the night. It is said that the driver dozed off and after that the car went out of control.
- The sharp turn also became the reason for the accident. The Anjhi Alamnagar road has been built well. There were no indicators installed at the turn.
- The car that crashed is an Ertiga. The car has a seating capacity of seven people. Despite this, there were 12 people in the car.
