Team India has not been announced for this match yet. There are five players in the Indian squad who have not played a single match against Pakistan till date. These players may get a chance to play against Pakistan in the match to be held on 14 September.

Cricket matches between these two teams are held only in international (ICC) and Asian (ACC) events. Because of this, the young players included in the Indian team have not played any match against Pakistan till now. These players include India's opening batsman Abhishek Sharma, wicketkeeper batsman Sanju Samson and Jitesh Sharma. Along with them, Tilak Verma and Rinku Singh have not played any match against Pakistan till date.
Out of these five players of India, three players got a chance in the first match of Asia Cup. Abhishek Sharma, Tilak Verma and Sanju Samson were included in the playing eleven against UAE. If Team India does not make any changes in the playing eleven against Pakistan, then these players will play the first match of their career against Pakistan. Whereas Rinku Singh and Jitesh Sharma will have to wait. India's playing eleven for the match against Pakistan can be announced before the match on 14 September.
Gill and Kuldeep did not play T20Asia Cup 2025 is being held in T20 format. On the other hand, Shubman Gill and Kuldeep Yadav are two such players in the Indian team who have played ODI matches against Pakistan, but have never faced Pakistan in T20 before this. Gill and Kuldeep can play their first T20 match against Pakistan on 14 September.
