
A bus crashed into a bridge, ripping the roof off the vehicle with passengers on board.
As many as 15 people were injured, three seriously and one person in critical condition, in the horror smash in Eccles, Greater Manchester, on Monday evening. Emergency services were called to the scene at the junction of Barton Lane and Trafford Road.
Dramatic pictures from the scene show the roof of the double decker completely torn off with the seats exposed and front glass windscreen shattered. Firefighters and police were in attendance alongside the air ambulance.
