King Charles has been complimented by royal fans today after hosting an Investiture Ceremony in Scotland. The monarch, 76, held the ceremony at the Palace of Holyroodhouse on Tuesday on the first day of the Royal Week.
At the ceremony, the King presented honours to recipients from across Scotland to recognise their exceptional achievements in fields including public service, charity, business, sports, arts and education. The monarch was all smiles at the event as he met those being honoured. Since the Investiture Ceremony today, royal fans have been quick to compliment the King and how smart he looked at the event, with many sharing the same view.
One fan wrote on Instagram: "King Charles looking sensational."
A second said: "The King looks sharp in his military attire."
Someone else wrote: "King Charles lll looks extremely smart."
A fourth commented: "Glad to see King Charles looking so well."
The ceremony took place after the Ceremony of The Keys, an annual tradition that formally welcomes the King to Scotland for his Royal Week, which sees the monarch carry out various engagements in Scotland.
As well as the Investiture Ceremony, the King also invited over 8,000 guests from across Scotland to the annual Garden Party at the Palace of Holyroodhouse.
The garden party aims to celebrate those who have made positive contributions to Scottish communities.
