Lloyds Bank giving free £200 to customers who switch from Tuesday

Lloyds Bank is giving a free £200 cash boost to customers who switch to one of its eligible accounts from Tuesday, September 16.

The latest switching offer will give eligible new and existing customers a free cash bonus for switching from another bank to a new Club Lloyds or Lloyds Premier current account. The offer will launch on Tuesday and those who make the switch will receive £200 within 10 working days, with " no hoops, no hassle". The bank says customers can enjoy a range of benefits, alongside the free cash, for switching as all Club Lloyds and Lloyds Premier account holders can now spend fee-free using their debit card worldwide.

Customers can also access the new Lloyds Travel booking feature to book flights and hotels, and choose from a range of 'Lifestyle Benefits', including 12 months of Disney+ Standard With Ads, a choice of Vue or Odeon cinema tickets, a magazine subscription, or a digital Coffee Club and Gourmet Society membership.

Club Lloyds also comes with exclusive offers, including the Club Lloyds Monthly Saver currently paying 6.25%, while Lloyds Premier offers benefits worth more than £100 every month, including remote family GP and wellbeing services and cashback.

To qualify for the £200 free cash, customers must switch to a new Club Lloyds Account, Club Lloyds Platinum Account, Lloyds Premier Account or Club Lloyds Silver Account using the 'Current Account Switch Service' to move from a bank account held with another bank.

Your switch must include the transfer of a minimum of three active direct debits from your old account and customers must pay in £5,000 each month, or have £100,000 of savings or qualifying investments with Lloyds Banking Group to be eligible for Lloyds Premier.

Existing customers qualify for the switching offer as long as they open a new Club Lloyds Account, Club Lloyds Platinum Account or Club Lloyds Silver Account and meet all of the above conditions.

You won't be eligible for the offer if you've received a switching offer since April 2020 for switching to any Lloyds, Halifax or Bank of Scotland Current Account, or if you're switching to a joint account and one of the parties to the joint account has already received a switching offer since April 2020.

The offer applies to applications received online, by phone or in branch from Tuesday, September 16, 2025. The £200 cash will be paid directly into your account within 10 working days of your switch completing and will appear as a cash credit.
