A large group of protesters have gathered outside a hotel in Canary Wharf, London, amid claims on social media that asylum seekers are being housed there.
There has been no confirmation as of yet that asylum seekers are being housed at the hotel. Police are at the scene outside the Britannia Hotel and some counter-protesters have been moved to safety.
A video posted on social media shows eggs being thrown from a window at the hotel. Meanwhile, the protesters have been heard shouting "Keir Starmer is a w*****" as they gather outside the hotel.
