The couple, who now reside in California, tied the knot in Windsor on May 19, 2018. The pair have - a son Prince Archie, now aged six, and a daughter Princess Lilibet, now aged three.
The 'seven-year itch' theory is a popular belief that romantic partners may experience a decline in satisfaction and potential restlessness around the seven-year mark of their relationship or marriage.
Harry and Meghan have always been known for their public displays of affection, but according to body language expert Judi James, Meghan has seeming "put her foot on the gas" when publicly displaying her love for her husband.
The former working royal recently described Harry as "a fox" during an appearance on Jamie Kern Lima's podcast.
Speaking to the Express, Ms James has said that Meghan appears to have ramped up the public displays of affection towards her husband to prove to the world that they are "even more in love than before".
The expert said: "Meghan's response to any threats of the dreaded 'seven-year itch' in their marriage seems to have been to put her foot on the gas in terms of performing loving, tactile poses and issuing some equally gushing quotes to prove to the world that they are even more in love than before."
Speaking of Meghan's first-ever appearance as a podcast guest rather than a host, she added: "During her recent podcast interview she was in full 'gush' mode again, telling the presenter how much 'H' loves her and what a 'Fox' he is, giving the presenter 'Full body chills' as a result.
"Meghan's signals have shown her stepping up slightly in terms of being more dominant when they are out in public, with Harry being dubbed the 'Spare II' as he hovers around his wife, waiting while she greets hosts first and even, as in this photo, leaving him in her wake as she entered the building."
Meghan and Harry live in a multi-million pound mansion in Montecito with Archie and Lilibet - who Meghan previously described as her "two gems".
