Police have issued a major update on the Southend Airport crash that killed four on Sunday, saying they believe all victims to be foreign nationals. Essex Police Chief Superintendent Morgan Cronin said during a press conference today that the force has not yet confirmed their identities. He added: "We are working to officially confirm their identities. At this stage, we believe all four are foreign nationals.
"Our thoughts are with the families and their colleagues at this tragic time, I can promise that those who have passed away will be treated with the utmost care and dignity." Sky News is also reporting that the victims were one woman and four men: a Chilean nurse, a European "medical professional", and two Dutch pilots.
