Bhopal: A woman was found murdered in Narmadapuram district of Madhya Pradesh. She was living in a rented house in the Anandnagar area where she was found murdered with her throat slit.
The incident reportedly occurred around 10 pm on Friday night and came to light at approximately 11:30 pm when the woman's brother-in-law returned home. Police are currently investigating the case.
According to police reports, the deceased, Shivani, was the wife of Arvind Yadav (23), a resident of Patni village in Makhannagar. Shivani's husband, Arvind Yadav, and her brother-in-law both work at a private company in Budhni.
Shivani had two children, aged 10 and 8 months. On Friday night, Shivani and her two children were alone at their residence as her husband and brother-in-law were away on duty at the company.
Upon returning from work at 11:30 pm, the brother-in-law found Shivani lying on the floor in a pool of blood. Her two children were found sleeping in another room. He immediately informed the neighbours and the police about the incident.
Following the report, Kotwali police arrived at the scene and registered a case of murder. The postmortem examination of the body was conducted on Saturday morning.
