Commentary
  • The Bangladeshi batters succumbed against some disciplined bowling attack from the Lankans. The hosts used spinners majorly and got success in every session. The Bangladeshi top order have failed so far in this series. They relied on their skipper who scored twin centuries but he too fell cheaply and so did the experienced, Rahim. Das and Miraz avoided any kind of risky shots just to end the day on a high but Miraz got LBW out in the final over of the day. Das holds the key for Bangladesh now. He has to play with the tail. Can he build a big partnership against the odds and take the game into fourth innings or we will see results in the first session itself? Stay tuned to find out.

Anamul Haque and Mominul Haque were short of runs throughout the series but Shanto, Rahim and Mehidy Hasan Miraz's wickets have put this game to bed. Litton Das has the tail to wag with. With a massive lead, Sri Lanka is poised for a win, and it seems like Day 4 might be the final day of this Test.   • What an action-packed day of cricket! Sri Lanka dominated the morning, with Pathum's 158 setting the tone. Despite losing early wickets, they managed to build a strong foundation. Kusal Mendis' 84-run knock helped them stretch their lead to 211, as Sri Lanka got bowled out for 458 in their first innings. Pathum's knock stood out, while Chandimal and Mendis missed out on well-deserved centuries.
